He comes across strongly as a rough-and-tumble troubadour. Shane is a young workhorse who spent his formative years touring roadhouses of the American South. Having paid his dues early on, Shane found his voice at a very young age. A well-grounded musician and guitarist of intensity and enthusiasm, Shane possesses a clear idea of who he is and what he intends to accomplish artistically. As a result, he's already asserting himself as a bold stylist, fusing rock music with soul, funk and Texas blues influences.

    Shane grew up in the small Oklahoma town of Verden (population 600). He underwent a life-changing experience at age 15, when he attended a B.B. King concert. Ironically, his national debut would come four years later on the 2002 B.B. King Festival Tour.

    In 2001 Minneapolis songwriter Kevin Bowe heard something special in Shane's voice. A few short weeks later, Henry was on a plane to Minneapolis, where he and Bowe began penning songs together and cutting a demo. The results were nothing short of spectacular: southern blues guitar meets timeless rock structures with an expressive vocal approach reminiscent of soul singer Stevie Wonder.

    Shane is now signed with Shanachie Records and is currently touring in support of his new recording, Deliverance, which features legendary rhythm section, Double Trouble, and a special guest appearance by Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Through the last few years, Shane has shared the stage with artists such as: B.B. King, Double Trouble, Jonny Lang, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Fabulous Thunderbirds, Susan Tedeschi, George Thorogood, John Mayall, and Joe Bonamassa.
