...Love to Beg was influenced by the road that Fuchs and Diamond, lovers who split but remained friends and bandmates, have traveled. "Nothing's What I Cry For" came from sleepless post-gig energy; Fuchs wrote lyrics on her Blackberry in her hotel room when Diamond came in and played a riff that meshed perfectly with her words, while "Keepsake" is, as Fuchs notes, "our story."
Above all, Love to Beg is inspired by the band's passionate fans. "I started saying to audiences, 'Home really is where the heart is. I don't know where home is anymore, it's got to be right here, right now on stage with you guys,' " says Fuchs. "After the show I go out and sign CDs because I like to meet the audience and hear what they took from the show.
